A night in the Lake District anyone?

I thought it was a pretty good swap, lovely Jessie's fabulous tanning service, but it seems we have gone one better and are seriously upping the stakes!

Stephanie (aka the 'Wilko' aka the 'baby smuggler' amongst others!) has gladly accepted the bespoke London tan in exchange for one nights B&B accommodation for x2 adults in the lovely Lake District!

You will stay at Montclare's guesthouse which is owned and run by Steph's wonderful and generous sister, Deb. The accommodation can be booked for one nights stay during the week in 2010 or, if you want to make a weekend of it, you can discuss upgrading the booking to a weekend mini-break. You will of course need to pay for the additional night.

You can see what you'll be getting and where at http://www.montiesbedandbreakfast.com/.

Please note that this swap is for accommodation on one night only - you will still need to get yourself there!

Nevertheless, the next swap HAS got to be better than this - and remember its all for charriddy!

Summer sun for one?

For all those doubting Thomas's out there - you were a fool to think I couldn't pull this one off! HA!

... I say that now as the very lovely Jessie Anselm has just swapped up McVeigh's shiny GB pound for a super duper bespoke spray tan c/o the wonderful sunshine pod!

In short... Sunshine pod don't do orange, don't do streaks, and certainly don't do to that awful fake tan smell. Just instantly gorgeous, flawless tans using 95% natural ingredients and totally free from paraben, alcohol and chemicals. None of their products are tested on animals and their tans are so natural looking you will never use a sunbed again!

Jessie will arrive at your home, office or hotel in LONDON with a fantastic pop-up tanning pod, towels, exfoliator, and different tans to suit your skin tone or the occasion. From 'English Roses' to 'Olive Beauties' she will match you to the right tan. Their wondrous solutions contain organic aloe vera and once you've been tanned Jessie will apply a Gylcerin and Juniper berry moisture lock leaving your skin gorgeous and smooth.

WOWSERS - summer sun here we come!

The ante has officially been upped - who wants to swap me something better than this?

... And we're off!

Contrary to popular opinion (and you know who you are!!) we are out of the starting blocks and have our first swap!

BIG thanks to the ever generous Nicola McVeigh who has rehomed my lovely paperclip in exchange for a shiny GB pound! Clearly Noo has identified the value of my lovely paperclip, choosing to pay a premium to add it to her growing collection.

So the new swap on offer? A 2006 edition GB pound, featuring a rather random bridge, this baby would buy many a penny chew... or a third of a London pint... fifth of a glass of wine... the possibilities are endless!

Who wants to swap me?!

Is this the most stupid thing I have ever done?

Next week the charity where I work celebrates its 10th Birthday, so we are going fundraising mad! In the spirit of Foundation Week I have decided to devise my own paperclip project like Kyle McDonald, http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/... It may fall flat on its face, but you’ve got to be a little bit interested… right? So here goes…

The BIG idea!

I have one very lovely paperclip available to swap with anybody (preferably in London) for something of a higher value. Isn’t she a beauty?!

I am very willing to swap my paperclip with you or your friends and will travel across the office or London to collect my new swap. If I can't physically get to you, I will find someone who can.
Each swap must be better than the last, so when it goes to auction at the end of the month I can make lots of lolly for the Barchester Foundation, the charity where I work… sometimes…

I will be keeping you all posted with my swaps via my blog and you can learn more about the fantastic work that Foundation does via their website http://www.bhcfoundation.org.uk/
Wish me luck!
